Not all hope is lost in P&G’s disappearing act. In 1996, P&G tried this same stunt of halting the production of its coupon insert in what is now called the "zero coupons test". Clippers all over the US were in an uproar and many boycotted P&G. As a result, the insert was reintroduced. Maybe P&G will come to their senses…again.
Either way, I don't think that companies like P&G realize that, to many people, couponing is more than just saving money, it's a hobby and a community. P&G brandSaver was part of that community.
